At 24 years old, Kim Garrett was co-founder and ceo of natural skincare startup Rooted Beauty. After achieving significant growth and distribution, Rooted Beauty was acquired by Seventh Generation. Kim continued to manage the brand until it was acquired by Unilever and Grove Collaborative.
After this exit, Kim founded Better Made Brands, where she focuses on providing strategy and innovation consulting across a wide variety of CPG sectors, including food and beverage, wellness, fragrance and beauty. She also works in partnership with the University of Pittsburgh's Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence. She is a Gallup-certified CliftonStrengths Coach and enjoys working with founders to solve problems, build brands and develop sustainable innovation.
