As the founder of The CPG CFO, Abby June Richards serves emerging CPG brands with fractional CFO services, helping brands "know their numbers" win the CASH FIGHT™. Abby loves reading the ingredients for the products she uses in her household and is passionate about expanding access to better-for-you and sustainable options by supporting founders.

Abby spent 15 years in operational and office roles, which gave her a deep appreciation for transaction processing flows and user experience. After becoming a CPA, she spent nearly 7 years at RSM, a multinational public accounting firm, with roles in audit, outsourced accounting, and technology implementation, receiving the coveted “Game Changer” designation several times. She started her own firm in 2023, focused solely on emerging CPG. Her core values are growth and community, so she enjoys serving as Co-Chair of the Virtual Huddle committee for DFW CPG, as a mentor for SKU, and on the Accounting Advisory Committee for Kilgore College.
