SKU is pleased to announce the appointment of Beau Bergman as the new Executive Director. Bergman is a seasoned innovation strategist, mentor and business development leader with extensive experience bridging the gap between emerging startups and enterprise corporations.

Bergman takes the reins from Buff Greebe, who announced earlier this month he was leaving to pursue another opportunity. Greebe, who served as executive director for the past two years, set a strong precedent for excellence and innovation.
“SKU would not be where it is today without the commitment and contributions of Buff and the entire team,” says Scott Jensen, Chairman of the SKU Board. “We are deeply appreciative of their leadership and care for the organization during a period of meaningful growth and change.”
Bergman comes to SKU at a pivotal time for the 15-year-old consumer products accelerator. SKU recently completed an internal capital raise to invest in new initiatives to support CPG startups.
“SKU is investing in its growth by strengthening its programs, building value for our community and funding development to ensure long-term sustainability,” says SKU Founder and Board Member Shari Wynne Ressler. “We are grateful for our companies, mentors, sponsors and friends and are excited to build SKU’s future opportunities together.”
As Executive Director, Bergman will work closely with the Board, team members, mentors and founders to ensure continuity while identifying new opportunities to strengthen SKU’s impact across the consumer product ecosystem.
Bergman’s background spans diverse sectors including fintech, consumer packaged goods (CPG), and enterprise software, with early leadership roles. Prior to joining SKU, he was Director of Innovation & Partnerships at VentureFuel where he led strategic initiatives that connect Fortune 500 brands with breakthrough technologies and startup partners.
Bergman holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Finance and Economics from the University of Denver – Daniels College of Business. He also completed the comprehensive LEAD Corporate Innovation program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and is an alumnus of the Draper University entrepreneurship program.
