Ed brings over 35 years of experience in the Food & CPG industry. This experience includes long-tenured careers with both Campbell's and Dean Foods where he served in General Management, Strategy, Sales, and Finance. As the senior P&L leader, he led the transformation of the Dean Foods Ice Cream business from several local fragmented operations to a centralized, market-leading $1B business. He also held C-suite roles for high-growth entrepreneurial companies Farmer Focus and Custom Made Meals. He started out his career in Accenture's Process consulting practice, focusing on Food & CPG clients in North America and Western Europe. More recently, Mr. Hinson has been advising Private Equity companies on strategy, operational efficiencies, and M&A due diligence, specifically around Commercial Strategies. Mr. Hinson offers his clients a unique blend of traditional blue-chip consulting with hands-on operational experience in both large corporations and high-growth companies. Some areas of focus are Channel Strategies, Customer Segmentations, Trade Funds Optimization, Brand Strategies, Private Label and Co-Manufacturing Strategies, Integrated Business Planning, Internal Sales & Broker Organization Design and Training, and M&A Due Diligence. Mr. Hinson and his wife of over 30 years live in the Dallas, Texas area. Together, they have two grown daughters.
