I spent the first 20 years of my CPG career in sales leadership roles at P&G and PepsiCo both in the field and headquarters. As a sales executive, I called on every channel and major retailer from Whole Foods to Walmart including most regional chains for most center of store (Food & Beverage) as well as perimeter (Deli, Refrigerated, Dairy, Produce) and HBC/HBA/NBC (Hair, Body, Sports Nutrition and Supplement) categories. I've spent the last 10 years running a sales strategy consulting business that specializes in helping small, medium and large brands build/enhance their Go to Market strategies. That includes everything from leveraging deep analytics and visualization tools to determine the "Size of the Prize", Category dynamics, Competitive and Consumer Insight trends to recommending the best trade investments by utilizing my deep industry knowledge and experience to maximize ROI's. This combination of strategic thinking balanced by my daily role as a Fractional VP of Sales allows me help brands avoid the most common pitfalls when dealing with the complex world of CPG (Retailers, Distributors, Brokers and all other outsourced resources) so they are setup for long-term success.
