Like many of the best brands, SKU alum All Y’alls Foods emerged from a deeply personal journey.
“I realized I loved cows the same way I loved dogs, which led me to stop eating animals,” says Christoffel. “With Texas being the second-largest beef exporter, I saw an opportunity to make a difference by offering plant-based protein alternative.”
Through careful research, he discovered he could meet the protein demands of humans through plants. In 2018, he launched All Y’alls Foods, which produces plant-based proteins.
The brand’s jerkies, featuring bold Texas flavors, are certified non-GMO, gluten-free, vegan, and are crafted from whole non-GMO soybeans. At the same time, its Tasty Toppers, including Bacon and Cheezy Bits, are crafted from whole organic soybeans. All Y’alls jerky was ranked #1 out of 13 vegan jerky brands by Tasting Table.
Sustainable Growth
In an industry often dominated by mass-market strategies, All Y’alls Foods stands out for its commitment to smart, sustainable business practices—a testament to Christoffel’s vision and dedication. Operating as a bootstrapped enterprise, Brett has prioritized deliberate expansion, wary of the common pitfalls faced by many startups in the food industry. For him, success isn’t merely about widespread distribution but rather making financially sound decisions that prioritize quality ingredients and sustainable growth over sheer volume.
The Role of SKU in Growth
All Y’alls Foods benefited greatly from SKU, a consumer packaged goods accelerator. As Brett’s first foray into entrepreneurship and the CPG space, SKU provided essential tools, insights, and relationships to help grow the company with intention. The knowledge gained from the program continues to inform business decisions today.
Strategic Growth Plans
Looking ahead, All Y’alls Foods is focused on strengthening its presence in Texas while expanding into markets that value bold flavors and compassionate living. Prioritizing food service, launching innovative products, and leveraging digital platforms for direct consumer engagement are all part of the growth strategy. Additionally, the company is exploring opportunities in the private label space.
One of the biggest takeaways for Brett over the past five years has been the importance of staying mission-focused. Balancing purpose with profitability is challenging, but authenticity resonates with customers and fosters long-term success. Patience and adaptability have proven invaluable in navigating the dynamic food industry.
Big Plans for ’25

The coming year holds exciting prospects for All Y’alls Foods. Christoffel is especially eager for more consumers to discover plant-based foods, including the latest product innovations. He is particularly excited about the launch of new products like Cheezy Garlic Bits.
“While they may not be as cute as traditional cheese snacks, they make up for it with exceptional taste and crunch. Consumers who grew up enjoying the traditional little cheese crackers today are avoiding gluten, dairy, and chemicals, so now we have a snack for them—or any cheese lover, for that matter.”
Every new partnership, recipe, and customer story reinforces the positive impact the brand is making. As a private company, All Y’alls Foods does not publicly disclose revenue figures. However, over the past five years, the company has experienced steady and intentional growth. The strategy has always been about scaling sustainably rather than chasing rapid expansion at the expense of quality and mission. With strong momentum in 2024, projections for 2025 indicate significant growth, fueled by an expanding product lineup, deeper relationships in food service and retail, and direct consumer engagement.
Commitment to Rowdy Girl Sanctuary
For aspiring entrepreneurs, Brett emphasizes the importance of staying true to their mission while remaining flexible enough to pivot when necessary. Surrounding oneself with like-minded individuals who share the vision is crucial, and recognizing that success is a marathon, not a sprint, helps maintain motivation. Above all, compassion—both for oneself and others—is an underrated superpower in business.

A core part of All Y’alls Foods’ mission is supporting Rowdy Girl Sanctuary, the world’s first cattle ranch-turned-animal sanctuary. The sanctuary represents everything the brand stands for—compassion, sustainability, and meaningful change. By contributing a portion of sales to support its efforts, All Y’alls Foods actively promotes a kinder, plant-based future.
With its unwavering commitment to delicious, plant-based foods and sustainable growth, All Y’alls Foods continues to redefine the way people think about protein and snacks. As the company moves forward, it remains dedicated to making a lasting impact.
“I’ve learned that staying mission-focused is the key to navigating challenges,” says Christoffel. “Balancing purpose and profitability isn’t always easy, but authentic values resonate with customers and open doors to opportunity. Patience and adaptability are invaluable in building something that lasts.”
