In 2020, Anya took a leap of faith, moving across the country to join two founders in their endeavor to grow an early-stage start-up providing pets with better nutrition. Five years later, Native Pet is growing faster than ever in retail doors and sales. As the first employee, she filled almost every role imaginable: launching and scaling our influencer program, filming our first 50 long-form YouTube videos, managing our blog and facilitating 200+ articles, preparing for and running our booths at Global Pet Expo and SuperZoo, and even packing website orders in the very early days. In recent years, she has focused on expanding Native Pet’s reach to new pet parents across the country through our retail partnerships.
